Community and Professional Workshops – Heritage, Traffic and Urban Design

Due to community interest expressed in DA53, in 2007 the National Capital Authority (NCA) agreed to conduct a series of community and professional workshops on heritage, traffic, and urban design. Registration for these workshops closed in September 2007.

Thank you to all those people who registered their interest in attending the proposed series of community and professional workshops on heritage, traffic and urban design.

In response to recent Government budget savings, the NCA has reviewed its programming of Draft Amendments and the workshops will be postponed to the second half of 2008. Specific dates will be advised subject to completion and release of relevant studies prior to the workshops and coordination with the ACT Government, the land manager of the precinct.

The NCA is committed to the ongoing consultation process and will not be making any final decisions on the future of the Albert Hall Precinct until the workshops are completed.
