National Police Remembrance Day Commemorative Service
This event is held annually on 29 September.
The National Police Remembrance Day Service provides an opportunity for serving and retired police members, their families and the public to honour the memory of officers who have given their lives in the line of duty.
The service recognises all Australian police jurisdictions and police members from the South-West Pacific Region including:

Wendouree Drive will be closed from 1.00pm.
Kings Park is situated on the Northern Shore of Lake Burley Griffin.
Home to Historic Blundells Cottage, this parkland area is perfect for a step back in time, a picnic or the backdrop to a beautiful wedding.
Accessed via Kings Avenue, Kings Park is close to Aspen Island and the National Carillon.
BBQ facilities and public toilets are easily accessed from nearby car parking areas.
