A touring exhibition is on display in Melbourne until 5 February 2013 celebrating 100 years since the plan for Australia’s National Capital was announced. The plans and renderings produced by Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony Griffin are internationally recognised as among the great achievements of urban planning and landscape architecture. The exhibition explores the Griffin Plan, along with other entries submitted for the National Capital. On 15 November 2012, the exhibition was officially opened by The Hon Simon Crean MP, Minister for Regional Australia, Regional Development and Local Government.
