Friends of the Grasslands Print Write e-mail

The National Capital Authority manages a number of Conservation Management Areas within Canberra, including

  • Stirling Ridge, Attunga Point and Scrivener Hut.
  • Yarramundi Reach Grasslands.

Friends of Grasslands, each year hold a number of work parties and wildflower walks on these conservation sites. Planned events on national land in 2013:

  • FOG Working Bee, Stirling Ridge, Yarralumla (9:00am–12:30pm, Weds 16 October)
  • FOG Working Bee, Stirling Ridge, Yarralumla (9:00am–12:30pm, Sun 27 October)
  • Wildflower walk, Stirling Ridge, Yarralumla (13:00pm–15:00pm, Sun 27 October)
  • FOG Working Bee, Yarramundi Reach, Acton (9:00am–12:30pm, Sun 3 November)
  • FOG Working Bee, Stirling Ridge, Yarralumla (9:00am–12:30pm, Weds 20 November)
  • FOG Working Bee, Stirling Ridge, Yarralumla (9:00am–12:30pm, Sun 24 November)
  • FOG Working Bee, Scriveners Hut, Capital Hill (9:00am–12:30pm, Sat 7 Dec)
  • FOG Working Bee, Stirling Ridge, Yarralumla (9:00am–12:30pm, Weds 18 December)
