2. NATIONAL CAPITAL PLAN AND DEVELOPMENT ASSESSMENT
Section 6 of the Australian Capital Territory (Planning and Land Management) Act 1988 (the Act) provides for the National Capital Authority:
a) to prepare and administer a National Capital Plan
b) to keep the Plan under constant review and to propose amendments to it when necessary.
Output 1
Canberra and the Australian Capital Territory are planned and developed in accordance with their national significance.
