Notice is hereby given under Section 22 of the Lakes Ordinance 1976, of the intention to temporarily close the following areas of Lake Burley Griffin as detailed below for the Beijing Olympic Torch Relay Event in the ACT.
5.45 am to 3.00 pm Thursday 24 April 2008
- Central Basin and West Basin
Only authorized vessels will be permitted in this area of Lake Burley griffin between these times. Inquiries regarding this closure may be made to Vanessa Febo on 6205 2579.
