No Application Lodged for Weston Park

The National Capital Authority was approached by a group wanting to erect poles in
Weston Park to remember those who died when the Siev-X sank five years ago.
The NCA told the group that it first needed to secure the permission of the land owner (the ACT Government) before lodging an application for a planning permit with the NCA.
The NCA has not received a planning application for those works in Weston Park.
If an application is lodged, the application would be considered on its merits.
