Water quality samples are analysed during the summer recreational season in accordance to the ACT Guidelines for Recreational Water Quality. Alerts are determined using the Guidelines and notice is given under Section 21 of the Lakes Ordinance 1976 advising alerts and the level of caution needed by lake users.
